Ungraded footage from my Panasonic HMC150 Cam. Everything was shot at either 24 or 60fps using the default Cine D mode with sharpness turned down or using Barry Green's low noise setting (which are more saturated and sharper). The Hummingbird shots were contributed by my brother Landon, who is an avid bird photographer. The slow motion shot is pretty sweet. Audio from built in microphone or the Rode NTG-2. Low noise scene file: detail level -4 v detail 0 detail coring +7 chroma level -1 chroma phase 0 master ped -13 a iris level +2 gamma - b.press (least noise) knee - high matrix norm1 skin tone dtl on Converted to Canopus Lossless Codec Edited in Vegas Thanks for watching!

I recorded this video at around 5pm under an overcast sky. Plenty of light. Had to use the ND filter. Used scene file F3 and had shutter set to 1/500. Otherwise it was on auto. The problem with this video is that the colors are blown out. Typically the issue with the HMC150 is that the colors aren't strong enough, not the opposite, so I was surprised to see this problem. Is there something about the scene file I used? Is there some way to keep the bright whites of the uniforms from over-exposing while not making everything else too dark? I had zebra stripes on and the auto settings took it down to where only a very tiny sliver of stripes would show. I adjusted manually to remove all stripes but then the picture was too dark. There has to be a way to fix this without having to do any tricks in post. I know the HMC150 if FAR from being what is used in NFL games, but those cameras are not magic. Somehow, electronically, they are able to adjust their cameras in such a way that whites are not blown out while other colors are rich and bright. I don't expect the same quality as those used in the NFL, but I KNOW the HMC150 is capable of far better picture than what's in this clip. Your constructive and useful suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Here's a quick montage of the Nations Triathlon in Washington D.C.. There were 6000 people in the race and easily 10,000 people there to watch. I shot this this clip with a HMC150. Enjoy
