This is Jak from the Jak and Daxter games. I am playing around with maya toon shaders and was able to find this mesh online and tweaked it than rigged it as well. Learned a lot from it. This was done as just a test for some other stuff I want to do. Now just to find the time. I am trying to achieve a good looking toon shade in CG. This render is straight out of maya no compositing.

As a self-initiated project inspired by the efforts of the Marine Conservation Institute, I created a hand drawn animation to generate more public interest and awareness for this significant social issue. The Marine Conservation Institute identifies specific endangered ecosystems in their publication “Gulf Gems: Treasured Places in Troubled Waters.” In order to understand the problem on a holistic scale, I researched these locations and other efforts to preserve the coral reefs in the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy in HD, please. marine-conservation.org ----- I made the animation, script, and voiceover recording. After a long year of tiring (but satisfying) work, I have completed Quinnipiac University's first fully animated Senior Capstone Film, "The Little Scarecrow." I used traditional hand drawn animation techniques, along with the state of the art program, DRAGONFRAME, to animate the characters and film.
