Loving Day is an annual tradition that celebrates interracial relationships and multiethnic identity. Loving Day Celebrations mark the anniversary of Loving v. Virginia (1967), the Supreme Court decision that legalized interracial marriage in the United States. These celebrations are held every year on or around June 12th. This is a video of the Loving Day Flagship Celebration we hosted in New York City, which is the largest of these events (about 1500 guests in 2012). We also encourage people to host their own celebrations for friends and family. In 2012, there were celebrations in over 30 cities. Loving Day Celebrations are shared among friends and passed down through families to establish a new multicultural tradition. Loving Day fights racial prejudice through education and builds multicultural community. It's a global network of annual celebrations that you can host or attend. It's also an educational campaign that you can be a part of every day. • Beer in Ancient Egypt (Ancient Art Podcast 51)

Episode 51 of the Ancient Art Podcast explores the art, culture, history, and mythology surrounding beer in Ancient Egypt. We'll look at the archaeological record to sort fact from fiction on the brewing process and dig up some modern attempts at recreating the ancient recipes for Egyptian beer. Chemical analysis of ancient beer residue paints a telling picture as funerary art and literary sources flesh out culture of some of the world's earliest brewers. Included in episode 51 are discussions of modern versus ancient brewing ingredients and techniques, Patrick McGovern's "Uncorking the Past," Dogfish Head's Ta Henket beer, the research of Delwen Samuel, the ancient "zeer pot" refrigerator (or nested pot-in-pot fridge), and the myth of the lioness goddess Sekhmet. Second Round is an ongoing documentary I am working on. It involves a non-profit boxing program that helps prevent gang violence in Raleigh, NC. Young adults from all walks of life are encourage to come. I am making a documentary to show the benefits of the program and to help raise money for the program to fund general expenses to operate the various activities and functions. This is just a short promotional video showing boxing as one of the primary functions to the program. There is a much broader scope in the involvement of the program in its entirety. In which I will utilize kickstarter as a means of getting funding for expenses. I need camera equipment (Canon EOS 7D, tripod, dolly) lights (omni lights, tota lights, light meters) and lavalier microphones (external audio recorders).
