Mule Deer is on the menu when this immature Golden Eagle comes to lunch. The coyotes have already taken their fill, but there's still plenty of meat on the bone. Despite the somewhat romantic image eagles possess, this is the down and dirty. A bird's gotta eat and it's going to be cold tonight. Images captured by a Moultree 990i game camera. Skiing around on Front street in Leavenworth Washington during an epic winter storm! The last shot nearly caught a small car sliding into a big garbage can. I turned the camera off just a moment too soon. Watch out, skiing on the streets means you are now subject to vehicles, a poor substitute for a trusty pair of town skis! Cross country skiing is a huge activity in Leavenworth, people come from all over the world to ski in this mountain paradise.
