In memory of January 7th 2015 – Charlie Hebdo is an interactive video installation which shows the dramatic attack on Charlie Hebdo from different points of view. By pressing the keys 1 to 0 the spectator can start key events which play a particular sound and different videos. The order of the key events is not predefined and allows the viewer to play with it in every possible way. The more combinations of videos and sounds, the better the installation. Lose yourself in the images and in your own thoughts! The aim of the installation is to make the spectator think about what happened, why it happened and about the consequences which were caused.Maybe in the end or even during the installation some questions will arise: What rights has satire? Is there a limit? What does “Je suis Charlie” mean to me? How can we fight for our freedom of speech in times of war and terror all over the world? What can I do myself?

In memory of my dearest loving mother, Yvonne Norma Kemp, 07.02.1926 - 02.05.2015 Please enjoy some of mum's beautiful art work plus her rendition of an Early Nocturne and Etude No3 by the composer Frederic Chopin, one of mum's favourites. She had only recently rediscovered her piano-playing enthusiasm for classical music and the recording was made on 28th March this year. Mum passed away peacefully after a brief illness and will be much missed by all those who knew her. Bless
