Investigative reporter Andy Worthington has searched the trail of those held captive in Guantanamo. International Law and Geneva Convention of the rules of warfare were not apparent in the process. Many victims were sold to us just for the handsome rewards we handed out. Others were taken merely because their stories for being in Afghanistan were not believed or immediately verifiable. Many succumbed to torture--their stories will not be known.

A mass hunger strike going on at the Guantanamo Bay detention facility for the last seven months is "effectively over," military officials said. Currently, only 19 detainees are still refusing to eat, down from a high of 106 detainees. But the information coming from Gitmo's officials hasn't always been correct. The official number of people striking and when the strike began differed from what detainees' lawyers and humanitarian groups reported. RT's Meghan Lopez takes a look at how the protest played out and what has changed since it started.
