This was Abby's bachelorette party. We tried to play Power Hour. We're all loud and obnoxious and girly in this, and it's kind of embarrassing. Whatever! Sorry for the awesome camera skill of cutting everyone's head off.

Clips while traveling to Fort Wayne this weekend. Most taken at Detroit Metro, my connecting airport. Having all of these clips tempted me to edit something creatively, but I decided to just assemble them chronologically for the sake of getting it up. Trivia: Near the end, you can hear me say "No, thank you". The Fort Wayne airport is known for having a lady standing at the arrivals gate with a basketful of cookies, ready to hand every newcomer a complimentary treat. In part due to this, USA Today named FWA the Nation's Friendliest Airport.

I have been experimenting with the motion capture feature on the Kessler Oracle system. I am very impressed with the frame accurate playback of even the most complicated dolly moves. Please read my blog for more: http://www.tomguilmette.com/wp/my-blog/archives/3213

Some shots in and around my hometown in Northeast Indiana. Everything was shot on a Nikon 1 v1 that I bought used for $250. All clips were filmed with the 1 v1's RAW burst mode, which captures 30 RAW stills in 1 second. I then take those stills in to After Effects and Twixtor them, streching the 1 second clips in to 2,3 or 4 second clips (it's a very long, time-consuming and monotonous process). I found out about this little beast of a camera here - http://www.eoshd.com/content/9806/nikon-v1-shooting-4k-60fps-raw-for-200 Song is Youth Lagoon - "Raspberry Cane"

This is just a bunch of clips I took this summer. I wanted to make a video portraying my summer as a whole, but the only time I'm ever comfortable filming is around family and my best friend Johnna, so that's all this video is. Also, by the end of editing it, I didn't really care and a lot of the placements of the clips don't really fit up with the music, but...whatever! ALSO, I'm an idiot, it was actually Taylor's last day of first grade!

I met my wife in a Motorcycle safety refresher course and we got married 2 years later on the bikes at a National Yamaha Motorcycle Rally, so riding is a big part of who we are! Our destinations are usually somewhere with some good grub, so our friends made us some patches that are a play on the old biker adage “Ride to Live, Live To Ride”, instead ours reads “Ride To Eat, Eat to Ride”. Things have been very busy with the video business, and we haven’t got out much this year on the bikes. So this beautiful 4th of July weekend, we put aside July 3rd to have family in the wind day. The destination was the wife’s favorite lil Mexican restaurant about 80 miles up the road, then on down the road for some United Dairy Farmers Ice Cream which we can only get up there. We took the back roads up the Ohio River through Kentucky, over to Indiana and then back over into Kentucky. Had the Canon HV-30 with me and the DSLR (Pics below), so here are some of the highlights, with a funny little out take when Deb over indulged a little. Listen carefully towards the end, we were cracking up, you’ll see the camera bounce because I was laughing so hard. WOW we had a great family day out! Our Daughter turns 16 this year, so won’t be many more of these kinds of days left, so I treasure the ones we have! Hope you’ll enjoy this just for fun video of my goofy family. SPECIAL THANKS: To Tony Sexton for the super cool MidnightStar Present opening graphic!!! It rocks!!! Song By: Jack Johnson - Better When We’re Together Camera: Canon HV30 NLE: Vegas Pro 9
