A really perfect day freediving in Mullaghmore, Sligo, Ireland. Mid winter but with great sunlight and colours. I don't think the camera does it justice. Try not to think of Platoon.

The Irish Virtual Research Library and Archive (IVRLA) is a Humanities and Social Sciences digital repository, which draws on the extensive resources of archival and rare material held in University College Dublin, allowing researchers to access this material in a digitised format from a single virtual location. The material comes from 32 curated collections which can be browsed or searched. Athena Media has created a showreel for the IVRLA illustrating its work and achievements. In addition Athena Media made four videocasts where leading academics talk about the archive objects which have been digitised from letters and manuscripts to pictures and audio. These, along with the new IVRLA website ,were officially launched on 10th November 2010 by President Hugh Brady, University College Dublin. The showreel and videocasts were produced by Athena Media, a digital media company led by Helen Shaw and based in The Digital Hub, Dublin. It was commissioned by the IVRLA which has been funded by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) through the Programme for Research in Third-Level Institutions (PRTLI). Athena Media have previously worked with UCD and the IVRLA to create Joyce’s Dublin. This educational microsite, and series of audio podcasts, has been nominated for a 2010 Eircom Spiders Award.
