JFK places a salty call to his staff, questioning a potentially embarrassing expenditure. The blowback is hilarious… and a little haunting. "Our Conquest" is a nostalgic collage filmed, scored and animated in response to the recent NASA/SpaceX contract deal. It seems as if humanity is on the verge of another space-technology revolution. Using John F. Kennedy's iconic "We Choose to go to the Moon" speech given at Rice University during the infancy of the space race in the 60's, this short piece aims to inspire and spark wonder about the boundlessness of space and it's defining role in modern humanity in an effort to once again help us submit to the pursuit of the unknown. http://thecreatorsproject.vice.com/blog/celebrate-the-future-of-space-travel Archive footage & recordings courtesy of NASA & The Prelinger Archives Custom footage, score and sound design - Christopher Larsen+ More details

"At the Foot of the Ladder" is a short piece I made on the struggle and journey it is to be in a band. I took John F. Kennedy's 17 minute speech on going to the moon, I cut it and reorganized it to match the story of my friends "House of Heroes". Enjoy! I went out for a weekend on the road with the band House of Heroes with a GH2 and decided to give it a try.+ More details
