Hikari no Sumi is a mix between a video game and a board game. The user moves custom 3D printed figurines to play. Map, enemies and visual effects are projected on a table. The game will then progress as the figurines are moved and set on the table automatically and instantly. Heroes are painters protected by Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and Susanoo. They enter their own creations to prevent them from being destroyed by time and death. Hikari no Sumi is a turn-based tactical rpg game and is coded with SFML and OpenGL. We use the Asus Xtion Pro Live to detect the position of the table.
