Enjoy the film? Help fund our new feature documentary: Jiu-Jitsu VS The World http://igg.me/at/jiujitsuvstheworld A documentary we put together following a short trip to California in late 2014. We met some amazing and inspiring people in the short time that we were there and this film is a slight glimpse into the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle in Southern California. We hope that at some point in the future we will have the opportunity to visit more schools and places in the state and put together a more in depth film. Hope you enjoy it. A collaboration film between Eat Films & Progress Jiu-Jitsu

FitnessNoBS does recommend if possible, that fitness instructors upon qualifying look towards sports massage as an additional skill set. This allows the fitness trainer to make the client or athlete aware of potential complications before they interfere with training sessions. Fitness trainers are required according to FitnessNoBS to build good professional relationships with a chosen physio and providing all parties agree, attending sessions particularly the first session. Therefore gathering information first hand and a more accurate idea of planning regarding future sessions. Here you see a competitive Jiu-Jitsu exponent, and the type of sessions undertaken in order to keep the body operating at performance level.

I started this week as a fitness trainer ever present in the background of the athletic performer or clients' world. However, with the encouragement of enthusiastic combat champions: Kayne Isaac - Pan Amarican Jiu-Jitsu Gold medalist (plus some!); Brooklyn Tilley - German Jiu-Jitsu NAGA champion and Daniel Sanders - Thai Boxer...these young lads had social media knowledge in their back pockets! So FitnessNoBS starts a journey of video, upload, download and...stuff! We all had a learning journey this week and certainly know more at the end of the week than we did at the beginning. It's exciting and if you've just subscribed...you've joined at the right time!

For more information on Becoming The Best Jiu-Jitsu Athlete Possible , http://www.Jitness.com Thank you Team Supremacy, Brandon Morris, & David Bamber. Thank you for the continuous support. http://www.supremacybjj.com Training in jiu-jitsu comes with many unforeseen injuries. Being prepared in all areas of Jiu-Jitsu is crucial to overcoming injuries and staying on track to achieving your personal goals. [ Focus on these areas to improve your Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle. ] Rolling/Mat Time: The top competitors say the best way to improve your jiu-jitsu is by doing it. The more mat time you have, the more confidence and skills you develop. Fitness- Strength & Conditioning: This area of focus is sometimes criticized because some athletes believe that mat time will also develop your strength and conditioning. While this is true, it does not mean that you shouldn't focus on these areas in addition to mat time. Adding strength and conditioning workouts will target the weak areas of your Jiu-Jitsu game. Nutrition/Supplementation: Working out 5-6 days a week can be extremely draining on your body and immune system. Making sure you have the proper nutrients to fuel your body for workouts is 80% of the battle. A high performance car does not run on poor fuel. What are you fueling your body with? Recovery/Mindset: A common overlooked area of Jiu-Jitsu is the recovery process. Making sure you take the appropriate time to recover from an intense workout is important to maintaining a consistent workout routine.
