The squirrel has left the building! 'Stereohype 2004–2014' exhibition, London, 10 November 2014 ___ Stereohype 2004–2014 anniversary book: https://www.stereohype.com/149-stereohype-20042014 ___ FL@33 project page: http://www.flat33.com/index.php?page_id=775 ___ The show 'Stereohype 2004–2014' was celebrating 10 years of London-based graphic art label Stereohype and also that part of Stereohype's collection reached 1,000 button badges by over 300 contributors from around the world. The exhibition was part of London College of Communication (LCC)’s '160' exhibition and part of London Design Festival 2014. https://vimeo.com/124986937 Duration: 13 September – 8 November 2014 (Extra week added – exhibition extended due to popular demand, was 31 October). Private View: 18 September. Location: Lower Street Gallery, LCC, Elephant and Castle, London, UK. Apart from a screen showing this video loop https://vimeo.com/124969213, the 1,000 button badges were also displayed in two other ways during the exhibition: a 30m-long line of badges – in chronological order – were displayed along the entire gallery wall. Fascinatingly the same 1,000 button badges were also shown in a circular composition that fitted into a custom perspex frame with the relatively small dimensions of 100 x 100cm.
