    Status report for the libVLC based VLC_Player being packaged into LinuxMCE as a substitute for the venerable libxine based Xine_Player. This shows the current progress as of 2015-02-07, and shows that while there still is a lot to be done, a lot works already.

          I decided after implementing all the functionality needed to make SimplePhone handle conference microphones properly, and to make the Phoenix Solo microphone work plug and play out of the box, to do a simple workshop video demonstrating what had to be done, and why. Explaining some of the weirder parts of plug and play support in LinuxMCE, such as how to find devices to detect.
