Cameraoke is a proposition for exploring a pre-recorded trajectory through space by "replaying" it on a digital camera. While looking at the video on the camera's screen, the spectator is invited to guide his or her motions through space in an attempt to accurately retrace the movements he or she perceives in the video. Much like karaoke is a re-interpretation of a song, Cameraoke functions as a re-interpretation of another person's visual experience in a space. Filmed at Bains Connective during the Visions residency, March 2013. Visions is a research project on poetic documentation based on Lisa Nelson's work, by Anouk Llaurens and guests.

SHOPTALK is the documentation but more so the extension of emerging ideas from the meetings and performances in the project “Danze d’Inverno ’04 – inquiries on contemporary dance improvisation ”. It is a field investigation, during the development of the work, thought over and elaborated by the performers that were invited. It contains the text of a meeting/interview by Donatella Bertozzi with Steve Paxton and Lisa Nelson, a few reflections on improvisation by Ariella Vidach and by Raffaella Ducrey Giordano and, for the SHOPWALK research project led by Charlotte Zerbey, the synthesis of the meetings held among Massimiliano Barachini, Bonnie Eldred, Daniele Albanese and Paola Lattanzi on the aspect of improvisation in the works they presented. The attached DVD includes excerpts of the following performers within Danze d’Inverno ’04: Steve Paxton, Lisa Nelson, Charlotte Zerbey e Alessandro Certini at CAN. GO. Cantieri Goldonetta in Florence; Raffaella Ducrey Giordano, Ariella Vidach, Daniele Albanese, Massimiliano Barachini, Bonnie Eldred, Paola Lattanzi at Teatro della Limonaia in Sesto Fiorentino; Michele Simonetti, Brigitte Jagg, Manuela Bondavalli and Otto Ramsted at Studio Blu in Sesto Fiorentino.
