If you thought 26.2 miles was tough, lace up your running shoes for a journey into the world of ultra running… “100: Head/Heart/Feet” follows Ultrarunner Zak Wieluns as he attempts to run The Vermont 100 Endurance Race. The film focuses on Zak’s intensive training regiment and its impact on his relationships while exploring the reasons he was singularly dedicated to completing the Vermont 100 Endurance Race, one of the original 100 mile runs in the USA. Filmed on the race’s 25th anniversary, “100: Head/Heart/Feet” records the stories of handlers, pacers and crew members while exploring the friendships that motivate their preparation for this grueling race over Vermont’s paved streets, gravel back roads and wooded trails...in daylight and darkness... all within a 30 hour time limit. A well-trained few complete the race; many will never cross the finish line. http://www.hammerandsawfilms.com http://www.facebook.com/100.Head.Heart.Feet http://twitter.com/100HeadHeartFt

    • Brewing Allagash Victor & Victoria

      04:32

      from Allagash Brewing Added

Victoria Ale was inspired by a visit to Victoria Mansion, in Portland, Maine and the visual references to Bacchus, the god of wine. The brewer's decided to fuse the worlds of beer and wine. Over two hundred pounds of Chardonnay (Vidal Blanc in 2010) grapes were brought in, crushed on site and added directly to the mash. Victoria Ale's aroma is fruity spice, and the taste presents subtle notes of green banana, black pepper, and fresh-crushed mint. With a focus on the subtle, wine-like character of the grapes, the 9.0% ABV brew boasts a pale copper color, Belgian yeast influence, and a medium body with a long candied fruit finish with hints of honeydew melon, and, of course, white wine grapes. The Victor Ale was inspired by its feminine-named predecessor, the Victoria Ale. With chardonnay grapes to make the Victoria Ale unique, our brewers decided to use red grapes for the Victor. Over one hundred pounds of cabernet franc grapes were crushed on site and added directly to the mash. In addition to a generous portion of Pilsner malt, Victor is hopped with Fuggles and Hallertau and fermented with a wine yeast strain. With a focus on the subtle wine-like character of the grapes, the 9.0% ABV brew maintains a copper color, wine yeast influence and a medium body with a tart and spicy finish. Allagash donates $1.00 from every bottle sold in our Tribute Series. Each beer benefits a different group, organization or fund. Drinking beer never felt so good.

We all want to live a godly life. How do we do that? Does godliness and piety mean going to church once a week, tithing, reading our Bible, giving to the poor? What exactly do I have to do to be godly? Peter learned during his life that godliness does not come from religious piety. It is more than following rules. Godliness flows from what we put into our hearts. As a leader, Peter lived out what was in his heart: please God first. This week we learn how to supplement our faith with godliness.
