Atlanta maker Lynn Pollard transitions from fiber art to paper dyeing. KPKinteractive presents MAKE, stories about people making things, launching with a brief video story about the process behind the fascinating work of paper dyeing artist Lynn Pollard of Atlanta. Through our work with various artists and with the American Craft Council, we have a fascination with unique art and craft and specifically with each maker's or artisan's process. After an introduction to Pollard’s mystical paintings, that are most reminiscent of Japanese paper dyeing, we asked for a behind-the-scenes look at her process. We hope you will enjoy what we found as much as we did. Concept/Director: Karin P. Koser Videographer/Editor: Rob Bellury Creative Consultant/Production Manager: Charles Salter Calligraphy titling: Andrew Bellury With special thanks to Lynn Pollard+ More details

Corinne Wilde is a young artisan who lives and makes leather goods in Montreal. Over the last decade she studied all the technical specifications and demystified the secrets of this noble material. She has worked in France and experienced footwear in Australia. Corinne is now offering her own creations, her skillful hands touch each stage of the process from design to finished product. Passionate about travel and anecdotes, she thinks that when you open a bag or wallet they reveal many stories and facts about its owner. They carry all our belongings, the precious ones and the rubbish too. Every scratch on the leather reflects our journey. Her leather accessories will age with dignity. www.corinnewilde.com/ etsy.com/shop/CorinneWilde https://www.facebook.com/CorinneWilde + Filmed and edited by Iván Sánchez (email@example.com) + Music: Mac DeMarco-My kind of woman+ More details
