A very special thanks to the City of Inglewood, Chief of Police Mark Fronterotta, Lieutenant James Madia, Sergeant Dirk Dewachter, and to the Men and Women of the Inglewood Police Department. None of this would have been possible without them. This project was only made possible by the help of a truly amazing and talented timelapse team which included; Joe Capra, Chris Pritchard, Brian Hawkins, Andrew Walker, Ryan Killackey and myself. This truly was a once in a lifetime opportunity that we are so happy and honored to have been be a part of. The endeavor started on Thursday night and went on until Sunday night, with very little sleep to no sleep. The only thing that kept us going was pure love of the art and adrenaline. One thing that stood out the most for me, while I was shooting, was the people of Los Angeles. It was so powerful to see the excitement on peoples faces and the pride of their home town. No matter how many times I would see the Shuttle it would never get old. This has been an amazing experience that I will never forget. My hope is that this film will show you the amount of dedicated people and teamwork that it took to get the Endeavour to its new home. Enjoy. more work www.mattgivot.com A Disneyland Timelapse by Matt Givot and Dan Douglas Over 20,000 images to show the one and only Disneyland Anaheim. In our latest time-lapse showcasing Disneyland and California Adventure, we combined artistry with technology to capture the magic Walt Disney has created. In one afternoon, we used timelapse photography to show some of the enchanting experiences guests from all over the world come to Disneyland to enjoy. The film gives a unique perspective of the colorful lights, moving crowds and entertaining rides. Our goal was to showcase the magic experienced only at Disneyland Anaheim, showing how Walt Disney’s theme park vision from the 1930’s has become the world’s most popular theme park. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into his magical world. And now the gear - over 75% of this was shot using the Carl Zeiss 21m f2.8 Distagon T*. It is almost hard to put anything else on the camera after shooting with this glass. Not only is this the sharpest lens we have shot on, It also has some of the best color rendering we have ever seen. In addition to the that glass, another important element was the Formatt Hitech 3.0 Prostop IRND filter. This would allow us to stop the camera 10 stops so we could get natural looking motion blur in the middle of the day. The motion control was created by using the emotimo Tb3 http://emotimo.com/ And the Dynamic Perception stage one http://www.dynamicperception.com/ The music was made by the very talented Nick Bertke (Pogo) Follow our adventures. Over the past year, I have been going to L.A. and shooting different locations. During this time I have grown very fond of this city. I find it interesting that human behavior is the same, regardless of if people are walking or driving. I have noticed many things about this town spending as much time as I have out there. If you know anything about time lapse you know that it can sometimes take one hour to capture 20 seconds of footage. That gives you plenty of time to enjoy the sites. I realize now that this project will never be complete. In the future I plan on adding another layer by recording the sounds of Los Angeles. But for the time being I hope you enjoy this small film. Equipment Canon 7d Canon 18-135 IS Canon 70-200 L Tokina 11-16 Music: Hand Covers Bruise, Trent Reznor. Location: All throughout Los Angeles Big thanks to Marissa and Julie over ant NBC for featuring my film on channel 4 news, and thank you Chuck Henry for getting my name right! follow me on twitter www.twitter.com/mgivot Contact information www.matthewgivot.com

A Givot Media Production www.mattgivot.com Hollywood Park was the home of thoroughbred racing for 75 years. The racetrack was opened in 1938 under the chairmanship of Jack Warner of Warner Bros Studios. Some of the original shareholders were Hollywood giants such as Walt Disney, Bing Crosby, and Samuel Goldwyn. Hollywood Park embodied the glamour of Hollywood and played an important role in the history of horse racing. Some of the greatest horses, jockeys, and trainers were part of Hollywood Park, for it was here that Sea Biscuit won the inaugural Gold Cup in 1938. During WWII, the racetrack was closed and utilized as a storage facility in 1942-1944. The first ever Breeders' Cup was hosted here in 1984, and Triple Crown winners have raced the track while fans of all walks of life have cheered. I was contacted and invited to shoot some footage of the park before it closed for good on December 22, 2013. Only challenge was I was only given a few days to actually shoot this. Very hard to capture this amazing place in only a few days we did what we could with the time we had (2 days) The rich history of Hollywood Park lives in the heart of the fans. The best way to be able to capture and convey 75 years in a short amount of time is to let the people tell their stories.
