                  The ACT Government has announced the closure of Elouera Respite Centre to make way for other projects under the NDIS. Many families have been left confused, shattered and lost as a result of the lack of consultation and time allowed for adequate transition period. The Minister for Disability, Joy Burch was approached for an on-camera interview, to which she declined. Ms Burch insisted no voice or video recording was to take place.
