I had no job over the summer, and Sam stayed up in the midlands after uni. We spent a lot of time riding new places and exploring cities hunting for fresh spots with the whole crew. We always take the camera with us and this is the result. Filmed all over the midlands and the north of England. Sam gets shit done! P.D.S.I.I Filmed By Jordan Reid When the whole crew is healthy again in 2015, we will be filming a full length video of some description!!

We think it's safe to say that the UK hasn't had the best of Winters or Springs this year. None stop rain and snow has lead everyone to ride indoors. Here's Matt Priest hitting up Flo Skatepark in Nottingham, Adrenalin Alley in Corby, Area 25 in Ipswich and the new indoor skatepark in Norwich, The Charge Unit. Matt Priest Halo complete wheels and rims are out now! An extract from a longer piece. The footage is shot around london and nottingham. a rough cut, the music is Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts. The footage is not 'cut' to the music at all. The footage is exploring the gaze, being the 'surveyor and the surveyed' and the shift in power via the lens, between artist and subject when a moment of mutual engagement occurs. The changing soundtrack is introducing 'Synchresis'(1) highlighting the role of the audience, emphasizing their share of creativity in the act of perception, taking their personal ‘mapping’ of the piece to a specifically individual experience, drawing from their own presumptions and interpretations. To experience the element of Synchresis for yourself, why not switch off the sound and play your own chosen soundtrack. This piece was originally shown as a perpetual loop, in a large, seated space. The Moving image element was around 15 minutes long - whereas the soundtrack was 18 minutes long - therefore the images and sound would never be seen the same twice during its run.
