I believe the future practice of law will involve utilizing the latest in mobile and augmented reality technology. I foresee a world where attorneys and clients, or potential clients, can connect in a few minutes, maybe even seconds, using the latest technology.

Lucidea Studio is a venture to share insights and bring ideas to life. (www.lucideastudio.com) A number of trends in the workplace are driving the need for more effective forms of training. However, if you look over the last number of years there has been little improvement with the model in which training is conducted. The form of training used by most organizations follows the traditional education system. There are 3 major flaws with this model that Lucidea Studio can help you avoid. There are 3 major flaws when applying the traditional method of training to today’s world of work. 1. In the world of work, knowledge is not static While the information in your history book doesn’t change, information within an organization is always changing. Receiving information at a point in time does not guarantee you have the right information two months from now. 2. Flaw 2: Knowledge is not a fixed asset. You can’t assume that once someone is trained in something that they will have that information forever. Just like school, if information is not used it is forgotten. If you train someone in January, don’t be surprised if they have forgotten it by April when they need that information. Information loss occurs immediately. They will remember that they knew the information at one point in time, now they need to re-learn it on-demand when they need it. Flaw 3: In the world of work everyday is exam day At work we are constantly under pressure to pass the daily exams we face whether it be from our customers, co-workers, boss, or constant digital interuptions. There is no way to possibly cram enough information into your head to satisfy all the inquiries and challenges we face on a daily basis. The good news is that it is an open book test. Stock piling facts won’t be able to address these flaws, but rethinking the training model in a way that enables quick access engaging content in an effective way will. Organizations need to flip the model and create an on-demand training system that enables their employees to gain quick access to the right information in an engaging and visual format that empowers them to establish themselves as experts in the subject matter on a moment’s notice. This is one aspect of what Lucidea Studio can provide.

                      What are Tags?

                      Tags

Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a video of your Hawaiian vacation might be tagged with "Hawaii," "beach," "surfing," and "sunburn."
