The ICEA Classic is the highlight of the ICEA Waves program which is run throughout the year to promote participation in surfing and to help educate the wider community about the importance of Indigenous connections to land and sea. At the ICEA Classic we support reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous youths by providing positive shared experiences, building enduring relationships and promoting cultural awareness and understanding. It's not about how well you surf it's about how much fun you can have in the surf. The footage here shows how much fun we can all have in the ocean. What an awesome day September 7 was for the 2013 ICEA Classic. Thanks to Peter Davis for his awesome GoPro footage and thanks to each and every one of you for being a part of something so great! music: Karma Kid - In My Arms (Armeria's Full of Happiness Edit) web: http://iceafoundation.com.au/ instagram: http://instagram.com/icea_frothers facebook: https://www.facebook.com/iceafoundation email: email@example.com+ More details

This program has been running since 2009 in One Arm Point, where attendance has grown from less than 50% of children achieving 85% attendance to greater than 70% of children meeting the benchmark.+ More details
