This was the final for our Motion Graphics class. We had to take a graphic novel that did not have a film adaptation and create an opening title credit sequence for it. The novel I chose was Bryan Lee O' Malley's Seconds. Unfortunately we had a short amount of time to do this project so it's not up to my own personal standards however, I still think that it is good, and was a fun project to work on. The song is Awake by Tycho. This piece is for portfolio work only and I have no intention of making a profit off of them. Let me know how I can make it stronger if you have any suggestions. Software used is Adobe After Effects CC, and Premiere Pro CC

Part of a larger thesis project "Entitled," this is a title sequence design study meant to precede a "new" Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie. The movie is completely fictitious, and should not be confused with any existing Charlie movies in the market already. The fictitious movie portrays Roald Dahl's classic in a new way, highlighting the darker themes of the well-loved tale. Meant to precede a film, the sequence focuses on the children hinting to what will befall them later. Willy Wonka is represented minimally, because it's a critical moment in the story when the mysterious man behind the name is finally revealed. The study illustrates how design can offer a fresh interpretation of something familiar A Visual Communication Design thesis by Kate Noel. Department of Design, The Ohio State University.
