This video is a personal message to anyone who watches. It was intended for an online Video competition through Intrepid Travel, but I found out about the competition one day before it was due. I decided to go ahead with my idea; however, because it gave me an opportunity to tell a story that I have been wanting to tell for a while. http://iamintrepid.intrepidtravel.com/ Music is by the Eels on "Blinking Lights and Other Revelations"+ More details

My sister and I drove from Chicago to Texas with a few stops and detours along the way to visit friends and family. We first hit Novi, Mich., where I visited and old friend from Japan who'd recently relocated to the States with her family. She and I had worked together teaching English at a middle school in Tokushima, Japan. Next up was nearby Dexter, Mich., where my uncle and his family moved last year. The next day, we made the drive to Nashville, Tenn., where I had dinner with one friend and stopped by to say hi with another before my sister and I squeezed in some canoeing on the Harpeth River the the next morning before returning to Texas. Photos and videos shot with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3, a Pentax Optio WG-1 and a Kodak PlaySport ZX5.+ More details

En vez, nos sumergimos por el Oeste de Estados Unidos y Canadá. Montañas de nieve abundante y buena vida.
