Despite a few flat days this week which has been rare recently, there were a few sessions to be had when the swell was here. The best session of the week I saw was a couple of grommets on sunday morning out at North Bondi getting perfect grommy rights back into the kiddies pool. Made me really nostalgic. Growing up in Bondi as a micro grom we used to froth for days just like today when we would surf perfect 1 footers fueled by oportos from the original north bondi store...those were the days :) Surfers this week: Tom Whitaker, Nigel, Jamie hardaker, Pama Davies, Maddison Davies, Tim Okerse, Aaron Graham, Luke Daniels, Bailey Richards, Duncan Lovely, Caleb Reid & Otis Kerry Band: Sky Parade Song: Lonley Alibis http://itunes.apple.com/au/album/lonely-alibis

This weeks vid is a bit of a highlights vid for the year. The vid features Aaron Graham, Pama Davies, Perth Standlick and Caleb Reid. Between them these 4 guys kept popping up in my footage. Azza was all over over it this year getting the best waves on the best days. Pama was the best young surfer I watched this year, surfing with a maturity beyond his years. Perth is the consumate pro, super polished style all the moves and an ability to make rubbish look unreal. Caleb is just one of the raddest surfers I have ever seen, his light frame and no holds barred surfing were exciting to watch all year. There were heaps of other guys I could have put in here but I only had one song. Music: The CO. Song: As you know find:freemusicarchive.org/music/This_Co Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year... Yeeeeew!!!

Heres the second clip cut from the footage I shot in Noosa earlier this year. Featuring some of the highlights from the Festival of Surfing with TCSS & KEYO team riders and a few incredible waves from the Duct Tape that wouldn't fit in the last vid. Thanks again to TCSS and KEYO . Cant wait for next year! music - Dr Dog 'Heart it Races' Cam/Edit - Kris Klein Thanks for watching

What a week in Sydney this week. Hurricane like storms one day and winter perfection the next. Added to that you have the running of the city to surf and the whole week seems a little surreal in retrospect. Thats why we live here though isn't it. The madness, that feeling like anything could happen if you just step out the door. Let it sweep you away next time but don't blame me for where you end up ;) This weeks music come from a band called Black Taj from North Carolina. The song is called Fresh Air Traverse. Kinda sounds like a surf move I reckon. Great song anyway and I have been playing it over and over. You can find their music at the link below: http://itunes.apple.com/au/album/beyonder Surfers this week are: Jono Arnold, Christian Bessera, Beau Walker, alex, Ian Wallace, Chris Chapman, Claire Norman, Sam Macintosh, Justin Barmwell, Rama McCabe, Pama Davies, Aaron Graham & Josh Bull

This is no Code Red, no nine-o's coming out of the closet with all pure pandemonium about some swell in another country. No, but this is all the thrills and spills from what will more then likely be the last large swell on the East Coast. Well at least until next years Autumn/Winter season graces us. We took local grommets Pama Davies and Monty Tait on a day mission to some slabs south of Sydney's CBD to reap the rewards and ended close to home for some beachy fun. Also featuring Blake Thorton, Luke Daniels, Jai Abberton and a bunch of other hell men enjoying the last glimpse of hope before 'spring time = sting time.' Not sure what I would be like if I didn't surf. Probably more career orientated, have a nice car, drink more, eat more and definitely weigh more. As it is I do and thank god. As a surfer you take notice of the changes around you. The festival of the winds marks the start of spring and a reminder that its not long until the flags are back up, the boys are back patrolling the beach, daylight saving commences and you can have a late after work and still get to the pub as the sun goes down. Surfers: Ben Fitzgerald, Peter Kavanagh, Pama Davies, Musso, Aaron Graham, Ian Wallace, Jono Arnold & Beau Walker

With the bulldozing of the sand at Bodi the week before combining with loads of rain, the southern storm pipe has helped to create a nice little right in the southern corner. Better sill the right at second and the left at the tower are also looking good as longg a the swell stays under 3 foot. Surfers: Ben Fitzgerald, Justin Barnwell, Chris Jones, Pama Davies, Luke Furmage and Luke "Bubba" Kennedy.
