With over $3 million raised annually for the Special Olympics, the monumental (and sometimes chaotic) Maryland Polar Bear Plunge makes its mark every year at Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay. Every January, thousands of people come together and openly plunge into the Bay's icy waters to support this charity. But did you know Canadians are involved? Absolutely! Through Washington DC’s area Expat meet-up - Canadians are involved. And they play an important role as not only plungers but organizers. How do they do so? Who are the main players? And how can “you too” take part in the plunge frenzy? Find out now with the “Plunge Zone!” P.S. check out: plungemd.com for general information, or contact the Hague Files directly at dextoor@msn.com to get involved.

With some crucial lost footage at this years Polar Bear Plunge in Blaine, I made the decision to put together other footage waiting in the wings to finally have their fun. When visiting a favorite city of mine, Vancouver, BC, I always am with camera. And its always wet. A splash here and a splash there helped round out the otherwise missing footage. The music track is Rounding A Planet, and I made heavy use of the App Scape.
