The lyrics of this song are from the poem, Annabel Lee, written by Edgar Allen Poe. The music and vocals were written and performed by Sarah Meadows, aka Pinky Mint. While searching for college scholarships a week ago, I learned about the Project Ed contest (to write a song or rap using the poem, Annabel Lee). I tried to achieve a dream-like interpretation of Poe's poem through the melody, my voice, and the video. This is the first time I've ever posted a video, so do go easy with the comments. That being said, feel free to share your thoughts and opinions. I'd love to hear your feedback.

A video upload for projected.com's scholarship! Here is my take on, actually, MY FAVOURITE poet, Edgar Allan Poe and his wonderful poem Annabel Lee. The instrumental tune was completely made by me and it was actually an instrumental piece I wrote last year for a recital piece. Never knew it would fit so perfectly with a piece such as Poe's. And finally, all video clips are copyright and credited to the following free stock websites: https://videos.pexels.com http://www.xstockvideo.com www.videvo.net/ https://www.youtube.com/user/FootageForFree https://vimeo.com/groups/freehd/videos http://orangehd.com/ Few clips are credited to me. I don't claim ownership or copyright to any of the footage above except those that are mine. Yes! It was a lot of work, but I had so much fun doing this. Thank goodness for free stock videos! Some websites didn't require credit, but the list above you can find all the footage I had taken. Most only ask for a link back to the site. All audio composition (instrument/vocals) is original copyright to Kathryn Padlan, 2015. Thanks to all those who allowed me usage of their footage!
