Chet's organic vegetable garden in Bradford, New Hampshire as of June 17, 2014. Have been following the progress of the garden since a May, 2014 video of this same garden. This is the best growth of garden vegetables, in raised beds, since the garden first planted in 2011. Organic compost from a New Boston, NH farm, new raised beds, new buckets for vine crawling plants, Seed Saver's Exchange heirloom seeds, as well as tomato and bean seeds from New Zealand have made a major difference in garden productivity.

In Spring 2012 a group of friends got together to start something new. We worked hard to build something beautiful that has made us all stronger and healthier. From digging the ground to coaxing slugs to leave our leaves alone we worked as a team. Thankfully we had a social media tool (Whatsapp) to help coordinate all the tasks…perhaps a good example of blending technology into a healthier life!

In our first podcast, we start by discussing the location for our garden, build a raised bed from cedar boards, and mix vermiculite - peat moss - and compost on a tarp to create a perfect soil mixture for our raised bed.
