For my VFS graduate project, I decided to create the advertising material for a Christian conference about living fully and faithfully. Many Christians tend to focus on the restrictions that their faith presents, rather than the freedoms, so this project was intended to encourage viewers to attend a conference about refocusing on the blessings of the faith rather than the burdens. I was inspired to create this project during my studies at New Saint Andrews, after reading Death By Living (N.D Wilson) and taking the Lordship class with Joshua Appel. A special thanks to Dr. Edwards for the narration, Bart Budwig for the audio recording, Nida Fatima for all her After Effects help, and my friends and family for the help and support!

From the 2011 Ligonier National Conference: Many people, even Christians, go through their lives devoted to trivial things, living for comfort and pleasure. There is no passion for God. In this lecture, Dr. John Piper exhorts all of us to not waste our lives on such trivial pursuits. Only a life passionately devoted to the cross of Christ and the glory of God will be considered a life not squandered on the last day.

From the 2011 Ligonier National Conference: In his first epistle, Peter informs believers that we are to be always prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks us for a reason for the hope that is in us. In this day and age, the number and kinds of questions that arise are astounding, but this does not give us an excuse to give up the fight. In this lecture, Dr. R.C. Sproul reminds us that apologetics is the duty of every Christian in every walk of life.

Register & Learn more: http://www.Ligonier.org/events/2012-national-conference/ Burning hearts are not nourished by empty heads. One of the things most alarming about today’s culture is the way in which evangelicals are responding to attacks. Many have bought into the idea that having one’s heart in the right place is all that matters—that a passion for Jesus and the life of the mind are mutually exclusive. What this view misses is that burning hearts are not nourished by empty heads. We must develop our minds if we are to sustain our passion for the Savior and deal with the bias against us. At Ligonier Ministries’ 2012 National Conference, we will be addressing this problem as we consider the theme of “The Christian Mind.” From March 15-17, 2012, R.C. Sproul will be joined by Sinclair Ferguson, Robert Godfrey, Michael Horton, Steven J. Lawson, Albert Mohler, Stephen Meyer, R.C. Sproul Jr., and Del Tackett to consider the importance of building a Christian worldview, the role of education in the Christian life, science and God’s natural revelation, defending the faith, and many other topics.

R.C. Sproul & R.C. Sproul, Jr. discuss the topic of abortion—its place in the culture, in the church, and where it has come since the landmark Roe v. Wade decision in 1973. They discuss Christian ethics, what they believe the church should do about abortion, and how they feel the church can make an impact to protect unborn children. Dr. Sproul's book, Abortion: A Rational Look at an Emotional Issue is being re-released 20 years after the original edition.
