KELOID Our first version of Keloid. In a near future, man will have given birth to machines that are able to rewrite their codes, to improve themselves, and, why not, to dispense with them. This idea sounded a little bit distant to some critic voices, so an experiment was to be done: keep the AI sealed in a box from which it could not get out except by one mean: convincing a human guardian to let it out. Could we chess match our best creation to grant our own survival? Would man be humble enough to accept he was superseded, to look for primitive ways to find himself back, to cure himself from a disease that’s on his own genes? How to capture a force we voluntarily set free? What if mankind worst enemy were humans? In a near future, we will cease to be the dominant race. In a near future, we will learn to fear what is to come. _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ A Short Film by Big Lazy Robot VFX BLR are: - Hugo Bermúdez - Juan Civera - David Cordero - Alex Martín - J.J Palomo - Leopoldo Palomo Concept Art : Aaron Beck, Greg Broadmore and BLR Sound : Carlos Roman Rubio Russian Voice Over : Gene Vengerov-Markmann Music : Machine Gun (AMON TOBIN Remix) by NOISIA

Aspen Public Radio asked if I could do an interview about Zina. If for some reason you are interested you can check that out here. http://aspenpublicradio.org/post/mourning-friend-creates-portrait-young-artist In August 2013 my friend Zina asked if I could shoot a video for her portfolio. She needed something that would showcase her work but also tell a little bit about her personality and her interests. We had two days to shoot and edit so we shot an interview and smashed something together to meet our deadline. On November 20, 2013 Zina passed away due to a hiking accident in Ouray, CO. After the funeral I revisited the footage and made this short as an attempt to capture her personality and creativity. I never planned to release it online but now I have a chance to share her and her creations with all of you! For all who are part of the Zina Lahr love bomb, this is for you! stormypyeatte.com WOW! The response to this video is incredible and completely unexpected! Cindy (Zina's mother), her family, and I are so blown away by all of this and I want to thank everyone who is taking the time to celebrate the life of my precious friend. I have received an incredible amount of emails from people who are wishing to donate to the Zina Lahr Memorial Fund. So if you wish to help the family of Zina Lahr you can call the Citizen's State Bank of Ouray Colorado at (970) 325-4352. You can also donate to the Weehawken Creative Arts Zina Lahr Memorial Scholarship. All the money for this scholarship helps kids pay for art classes in the within Weehawken Creative Arts program located on the western slope of Colorado. Zina did an incredible amount of volunteer work for this wonderful non profit. From props to set pieces Zina was the magic behind it! More info here! http://www.weehawkenarts.org/uncategorized/honoring-zina-lahr/ Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am so happy Zina can continue to inspire.

Brixton has degenerated into a disregarded area inhabited by London's new robot workforce - robots built and designed to carry out all of the tasks which humans are no longer inclined to do. The mechanical population of Brixton has rocketed, resulting in unplanned, cheap and quick additions to the skyline. The film follows the trials and tribulations of young robots surviving at the sharp end of inner city life, living the predictable existence of a populous hemmed in by poverty, disillusionment and mass unemployment. When the Police invade the one space which the robots can call their own, the fierce and strained relationship between the two sides explodes into an outbreak of violence echoing that of 1981.
