1. Horyzontu w kosmosie ciąg dalszy : STS-130 Rendevous Sunset 429/404 km

    from Mariusz Szczytynski Added 617 0 0

Taken inside the ISS Flight Control Room (FCR), at the Mission Control Center (MCC) building on Johnson Space Center, Wed Feb 17 2010, while Shuttle Endeavor (OV-105, STS-130) was docked to ISS. That day, NASA held a Tweetup for randomly selected Twitter followers, and allowed the Tweeps to see all three FCRs (ISS, Shuttle, and Historic Apollo). Video is just prior a call from President Obama to ISS, as the crews are setting up for the videoconference. Volume sounds low because we didn't have direct audio/video in the room (upgrade of FCR Viewing Room monitors to HDTV was in progress). Also, occasionally the glass separating the viewing room from the FCR becomes visible. Several of the panes were VERY dusty, and camera auto-focus picked that up at times.

I took the best parts of the launches of STS-119 and STS-130 and put them together into a single "night launch" video. Both launches were recorded from the same spot 12 miles away from the launch pad with an 8" LX200 and Canon XTi camera.
