          • Seek the Lord (Video Jam)

This video jam titled "Seek the Lord" comes from a sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled "Seek the Lord While He Can Be Found". We must seek the Lord and move to action while it is still the day of Grace! God will deal harshly with those who refuse to repent. God will strive with man to a certain point, He draws people to Himself, some obey, and some do not. But the day of Grace will end. In the days of Noah only Noah and his family were saved. To hear the voice of God we must step away from the culture and get away with God, you cannot even listen to the Church anymore! The Church by and large is being led away from God, people are turning to spiritual experiences that focus on self. People strive for complacency and ease, but this is not true Christianity! God brings the sword of His Word to our hearts and minds. Jesus has won the victory over Satan, only when one is in Christ will they have victory. No one can be causal in the battle of the mind, we must cast down every thought and put it under captivity to the obedience of Christ. Society has rejected God and chaos has resulted. Sin has caused this chaos and darkness. Truth cannot be ignored, it must be acted upon. God's Word is clear that we must obey His Word. The Devil's preachers declare a message that only focuses on grace and leaves out the Truth. The lukewarm Church is headed to hell. God is calling His people to obedience and sanctification! To be a follower of Christ is to live in daily obedience. God sent Christ to make us holy, so Christ can live within us. The only way to be sanctified is to consecrate yourself daily to the Lord and remain in Covenant with Him. In order for Truth to set one free it must be acted upon. Do not follow a blind leader! Do not settle into a worldly religion! Will you seek the Lord while He may be found? For more information about this sermon or our church, please visit: www.pilgrimspathway.org

God's approval is all that matters. Jesus Christ went to the extreme in order to show us that we are approved by and loved by him. We are called to be extreme. http://christcovchurch.net

Pastor Kenny ends our study in John 5 by reminding us of how Jesus Christ became the perfect witness for God through his death on the cross, which adopts us into God's family. Are we a witness to Jesus Christ in our lives? Do we give glory to ourselves or to God? Challenging message to think about. From CCC's Sunday service on 10.14.2012.
