I was filming in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for over 10 months in last three years. I visited many amazing places but I fell in love with Cambodia. Her dark story, incredibly gripping atmosphere of the biggest religious complex in the world called Angkor Wat and personal life of local people. Every time when I left the airport in Phnom Penh my body was frozen for while and I was thinking like: Wow I am leaving this astonishing place! But there is also dark side of this country. The heart of southeast Asia faces the problem of the waste, extensive poverty and corruption which goes across all social layers. I spent almost 4 months in Cambodia. It was enough time to meet real life local people who live in cities and countrysides where usual tourists won’t go. Right there I met the open hearted local people, their hospitality and smile on their face is something that is hard to find in western world. It was a massive life experience and great inspiration for my filming skills to spend time in this beautiful country. A way-too-brief look into our discovery of Cambodia. A wonderful country that we loved for its Amok curries and Lok Laks; which brought us back together with some old fellow travellers; and allowed us to meet some new ones; which bears a magnificent, although at times heavily painful and difficult to understand history; where 216 faces of Buddha watched over us while we humbly explored the beauty of Angkor Wat; where the longest, whitest, beach with the clearest water of thousands shades of blue is hidden behind the thickest jungle; where roads aren't roads, they're building-sites; where your skin may get absolutely massacred by sand-flies but it's okay because you're on a little piece of paradise called Koh Rong. We spent two weeks in this country: not-the-simplest border crossing from Pakse (Laos) to Siem Reap, crossing over via boat on the Tonle Sap lake to Battambang, bussing it to SIhanoukville, boating it over to Koh Rong, and back to Phnom Penh. Filmed and edited by Giulia A. Bruni Roccia Music: Tez Cadey - Seve

We’d like to announce our new videoclip “DONT WASTE” which was shot last month in Sihanoukville Province of Cambodia. You probably have heard about the tragedies such as massive killings by Khmer Rouge or carpet bombing of Cambodia by the United States which in the context of war in Vietnam overthrew 50% more American bombs than during the Second World War in Japan. Unfortunately these were not the only tragedies to hit this exotic country. Right now Cambodia faces the biggest problem of modern civilization. The problem of the waste. Of course Cambodia is not the only country where the amount of excess waste grows every year up to several million tons of waste per day. For example an average American uses 18 tons of paper, 23 tons of wood, 16 tons of metal, and 32 tons of organic chemicals in one lifetime. Waste is global world issue. We didn't make video clip as separatist movement or how to learn you shouldn't put plastic in the blue trash bin. This video clip serves only as a wake up call to reality of the problem we face as society, together! - нет, это не про ABRO:) ------------------------------------------------------ Shot in Cambodia (Siem Reap, Sihanoukville), Russia (Vladivostok) Camera: Canon 5D Mark III Lences: Canon EF 24-105 mm f/4 L IS USM, Canon EF 70-200 mm f/2.8 L USM, Canon EF 50 mm f/1.2 L USM Audio recorded with: Zoom H6n, Rode Pinmic Glidecam HD 2000 Record format: CDNG (Magic Lantern RAW Video), H.264 (interviews only) Color grading: Da Vinci Resolve 11 Lite FEBRUARY, MARCH 2015
