Minimum Form, Maximum Function “Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away – Antoine de Saint-Exupery Direct Connect Mounting System Direct Connect positions boot mounting hardware directly beneath the foot’s natural balance and mobility centers: the heel and ball of the foot. Direct Connect eliminates the traditional mounting plate, greatly reducing boot weight, boot drag, and the boot’s impact on ski flex. The result is a natural 1:1 skier-to-ski moment-of-inertia never experienced before on the water. Direct Connect allows the entire MAX Ski Boot Collection to redefine what can be expected from a water ski boot.

Apex, Attack, Basis, Couture Basis, and Future Basis: The HO Skis 2014 Footwear Collection Linerless, Baseless, Weightless. A simple less is more philosophy is the mantra behind HO’s footwear collection. An obsession with one foot deeply rooted in fit and comfort and the other in enhanced performance, HO’s Liner-less, Base-less, Weight-less philosophy melds athletic shoe comfort with hardshell boot performance. Liner-less technology eliminates the sheering between the textile shell and liner for hardshell like lateral support with a comfortable athletic shoe fit. Liner-less technology allows the physical footprint of HO boots to be smaller with less external boot volume to reduce the negative effects of water drag. HO’s Base-less design allows skiers to stand directly on the skis surface with only a thin comfortable orthotic foot bed separating the skier’s foot from their ski for the ultimate in skier feel and feedback. The combination of HO’s Liner-less and Base-less designs result in water ski boots that are virtually Weight-less on your ski, bringing overall ski weights down by over 25% for the fast and fluid ride skiers dream of. Liner-less, Base-less, Weight-less technology for the ultimate modern water ski footwear collection.

Less is More: Liner-less, Base-less, Weight-less As water ski boots have transitioned from rubber binders to textile footwear great improvements have been made in ease of entry and overall boot comfort, but has performance been sacrificed? Not anymore. The Attack utilizes a Liner-less Unibody Construction and a 1Piece 3D molded tongue to deliver unmatched lateral ski edging power. Traditional "Stitch to" boots are made of a liner inside of a synthetic leather shell. Because the liner and textile shell are not connected there is a large amount of sheering between the two and the lateral support of the boot is much lower than desired. Unibody construction mechanically attaches the soft comfortable liner with the powerful textile shell to eliminate shearing and maximize lateral support and edge power. The Attack also utilizes the 1Piece 3D molded tongue to provide positive feedback to forward ankle flexion allowing the skier to let the Attack boot support them shifting their weight forward on the ski for more efficient skiing. Combine this with the industry's only Baseless Aluminum Frame, ultra lean, water ski specific design, and you have marriage of finesse and power seen in no other hybrid boot on the market. By combining all of these less-is-more technologies, we are able to make the Attack boot virtually Weight-less giving you a the perfect boot to outfit your lean and light HO slalom ski! -Liner-less design for greater responsiveness and lean boot design -Base-less design for maximum control and skier feel -Weight-less design for maximum strength to weight ratio -New for '13 – Power Hook for quick entry/exit and improved upper cuff closure -New for '13 – 1cm increased cuff height for greater lateral support -New for '13 – reduced forward lean for more natural, upright stance

Just because you don't ski for a living doesn't mean you can't have support from your water ski boot. That was the thinking behind the all new 2012 Basis boot. Built with the same Unibody Construction, 1Piece 3D molded tongue and Baseless Aluminum Frame of the Attack boot in a softer, more comfortable model, the all new Basis boot outperforms its competitor's high-end boots at a fraction of the cost. Unibody Construction and the 1Piece molded tongue allow the boot to support the skier giving the skier improved balance and increased control. While the plush liner, soft foot bed and floating tongue make comfort, fit, and ease of entry second to none. The Basis combines the support you need to progress your skiing with the comfort to enjoy every moment on the water.
