Jewelry is nature's treasures. Since the dawn of time, man has always created accessories from rocks, metal, wood. This has always fascinated me that through all time, through all civilizations, everybody wants jewelry. Everybody wants to accessorize. This is why Home of Eve brings this together.

My culinary adventures now take me to wonderful Istanbul. The ancient Turkish city spreads over two continents and wherever you go, you’re bound to find an eclectic mix of Asian and European influences. In this first episode I'm wandering around the Grand Bazaar, am drinking tea in a carpet shop and am eating one of the best döner kebabs in town. In my little kitchen, I'll be making Turkish pizza, a refreshing herby bulgur salad and sigara börek stuffed with carrot, feta and mint.

The Schnap team weren't quite sure what to expect when we were signed up to film a two day back-to-back wedding. But we were excited about the new experience and simply couldn't wait to get started! Lexa and Vuong's wedding spanned over two days: Day 1 being the traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony, and Day 2 being the church ceremony and reception. We must say that some of our favorite moments of this wedding occurred during Day 1. Lexa looked absolutely phenomenal in her traditional ao dai, and the bridesmaids also dressed traditionally for the occasion! Family members showered the couple with blessings and well-wishes, and in turn the couple showed their respect for the family by offering tea to them. The day continued with the bridal party, the truPhotography team and the Schnap team moving on to location shoots. We got the opportunity to capture footage in the stunning Spice Market Bar and Cocktail Lounge, which provided us with a unique backdrop. While we thought Lexa could not possibly look at more stunning after what we saw on Day 1, we were proved dead wrong when we saw her on Day 2 in her amazing wedding gown. We must also mention that Vuong looked super dapper too! The church ceremony was very memorable for us, especially Vuong’s beautiful poem written for his bride. We’re sure there were quite a few tears in the room! At the reception, we were once again amazed by Lexa and Vuong. Who knew they could dance like ballroom professionals? Lifts, twirls, spins, dips; you name it, they nailed it! They busted out some awesome moves throughout the night and had everyone on their feet. Two thumbs up! The Schnap team would like to take this opportunity to thank the lovely couple, for being so much fun to work with. It’s been an absolute pleasure. Much love, Schnap team.
