Show the footage as it is, as it was recorded, with errors, duplicates, good and wrong stuff. No edits, no color correction or post-production, just sorted by date. From set to screen as a dogma. At first glance rough material destabilize, then gives a sense of potential. Because it splits observers in active or passive. And yes, is a provocation. The time-lapse were realized with 2 Nikon d2x and a cinema shuttle-pod. No kessler or dynamic perception motion control were used, diy - just by hand and scotch tape. Now we have a stage zero modified, (a slider with motion control for timelapse) but in this case I love the flickering and the discontinuity of hand made. Anyway, at the time, I whish I had it... production: Absolute timelapse: Marco Genone Time-lapse extracts from footage realized for Metro Roma corporate film. Produced by ATON - ABSOLUTE in 2008

Shot on the Canon 550D and the 5D Mark ii, with the Canon L series 17-40mm and 35mm prime. Big thanks to the guys at Dynamic Perception for all their hard work and dedication to produce such an affordable yet rugged motion control rig, it simply would not have been possible to achieve all of my shots without your help. Also a big thank you to Elliott Montello for all his hard work and patience with the edit. Danny Cooke for allowing me to use his song and for all the advice along the way. Original score written and performed by Danny Cooke. HDR timelapse, 5 bracketed pics edited in Photomatix. Camera moves 1/3 inch per shot. I was able to do an HDR timelapse with my canon 5D (or Van's 5D) with the use of a promote remote intervalometer, which expands the number of bracketed shots u can take. I played it in reverse at the end to make it longer to watch. Here is some more info Camera - 5D Mark 2 Lens - Canon 24-70mm 2.8 Stage Zero Motorized Track - http://dynamicperception.com/ Mid Exposure - 1/30 iso - 400 5 pictures at +-1 stop Batch Processed in Photomatix http://www.hdrsoft.com/ Stop-Move-Stop setting, so the camera will take all pictures, then move. Great for long exposure shots! For more info email me: Marc PermaGrinFilms@gmail.com

First tryout with my new Stage Zero Dolly from Dynamic Perception that I got last week. (Thanks to Matthias of kids-of-all-ages.de for being that advisory, patient and felxible) ATM, I decided to buy a Stage Zero instead of a Stage One because I think and have read that a S0 is more stable. As a beginner in TL I thought this was the right choice to get familiar with that kind of equipment. Just taped some footage from my garden to test some settings for linear movements. Starring: One of our cats called "Rübe" First scene was shot in interleave mode and the others are video captures in puls mode speeded in post.

                  from MikeA / Added

Taken over the last weekend in March-2011 using a Dynamic Perceptions stage zero dolly fitted with a 25rpm motor drive and MX2 controller. Currently unable to ramp in / out of the shots, I will be modifying my old controller to work with the dolly to over come that minor problem, DP is primarily for Time-lapse not video work. The dolly track was just laid on the lawn etc, no support used.
