Unlimited 3 is a Polish production I’ve made for fun. It contains DH, dirt, FR, park and other segments. Starring by top riders and great buddies of mine: Marcin Łomnicki, Krzysztof Kosmowski, Łukasz Suski, Paweł Turno, Dawid Godziek, Wojtek Zych, Bartek Krzysztoń and Krzychu Kawula. Shot in autumn 2009 and 2010. It's made from high definition and standard definition footages so there's no high quality video at times, but it should be watchable;). Enjoy! WINNER - Best Documentary Feature, Phenom Film Fest, 2012 WINNER - Best Documentary Feature, Peachtree Village International Film Fest, 2012 WINNER - Humanitarian Award, Third World Indie Film Fest, 2012 WINNER - Best Health Documentary, Awareness Film Fes, 2012 WINNER - Award of Merit, Indie Film Fest, 2012 "STIGMA" follows filmmakers Jeff Johns and Ryan Loughridge as they travel the globe to discover why more hasn't been done to completely eradicate the existence of Leprosy in the world. Through India, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, they talk to WHO doctors and aid workers, while visiting numerous colonies and hospitals to meet those affected by the disease and to understand the life-changing stigma it has created for them and for their families. While some prejudice stems from religious beliefs, much of the stigma is simply passed down from generation to generation. This has allowed a once biblical illness, often referred to as the world’s oldest and most misunderstood disease, to continue to affect hundreds of thousands each year, right up into the twenty-first century - even though this disease is completely curable. Follow the filmmakers, armed with only two backpacks, their passports, and $1,200, on a breathtaking journey across the world, as they learn about the lives, cultures, triumphs, and struggles of those whose lives have been stigmatized by this horrible disease, and as they discover the disturbing politics that have allowed this situation to be perpetuated. The World Health Organization proudly announced the elimination of Leprosy in 2000 and refused to take part in the making of this film. Conservative estimates indicate that over 200,000 new cases of Leprosy were reported in over 125 countries throughout the world in 2011.

This film carries the words of Gail A. Hornstein in her book 'Agnes's Jacket' - A psychologist's search for the meanings of madness. This is a book I would heartedly recommend. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Agness-Jacket-Hornstein-A-Gail/dp/1594865442 The film explores labelling and stigma. Until science accepts that subjectivity is fully part of all our lives we will get this wrong and wrong again. All thanks go to the author, Gail A. Hornstein. I hope she will forgive the filmmaker for including some quotes from her book below. The film is dedicated to the seamstress Agnes Richter. We created this video to share with you the experiences of youth who care for their family members. We want more youth caregivers in the United States and worldwide to be recognized and supported. This video was created through a participatory action research process and uses the real words and real experiences of youth caregivers, which were shared with us in focus groups. Three youth leaders worked with a doctoral student at Brandeis University, Sara Plachta Elliott, and staff of the Caregiving Youth Project in Palm Beach County, Florida, to conduct the research and create this video. Youth voices narrate the stories. This work reflects our passion for creating more awareness of what youth who provide care to family members with illness and disability experience. Alice Evans is a fine art photographer and film maker. Her work seeks to expose the mechanisms of the filmmaking and photographic processes by leaving elements of the construction of the image within the frame. Alice relates this to her mental health diagnosis – schizoaffective disorder – which is an influence in her art. This film seeks to convey that people are much more than labels, and that we should seek to understand and appreciate the individual.
