Video Ad in response to YCN Student Awards 2014 Domino's Brief. // Reassert Domino’s ownership of Tuesdays in the pizza takeaway category. // Two For Tuesday is no longer able to differentiate Domino’s from our competitors, and as such Tuesday ownership has been relinquished. We would like to reinvigorate and recharge the Two For Tuesday offer, not reinvent it. We want Domino’s to be to Tuesdays what Orange is to Wednesdays. The creative challenge is to develop an attention grabbing campaign that achieves this.

Belu, that’s all our carbon emission – Belu is a non profit organisation, which produces tasty, english sparkling and still water. Belu is engaged in different water projects in the UK and around the world. They supported the implementation of a rubbish munsher in the thames and also still support the adopt a stream project for schools in the UK. They are also involved in the water aid campaign, which initialises clean water projects in third world countries. The research gave us as a result the fact, that belu is compensating their complete carbon emissions by doing several activities like using lightweight bottles, wind energy, recyclable and reusable packagings, local sources and carbon certificates for their rest emissions. There are some topics which are also relevant for understanding the idea of water. First of all there is thirst, then is there the freshness and the clarity and there is to mention the pleasant feeling while drinking it by not being thirsty any longer, one of our basic needs. And there are some secondary characteristics, which are important to identify water as sparkling, fresh and clean. These are the colour, the bubbles, its floating characteristics and the sound. Our intention was to focus the taste, freshness and product range in combination with belu's idea of problem solving by notice its image and relevant target groups. This video was submitted to D&AD 2008 Student Awards.

from Baltimore City Public Schools Added

The College Board Foundation recently held its' annual "What College Means to Me" contest in which students are challenged to respond to the prompt in the form of an essay, creative writing or artwork. Twenty-seven winners of the contest from various Baltimore City Public schools were honored at a ceremony held at the National Aquarium. "College is important because it's basically furthering your intellectual barriers," says Ikemba, a winner of the contest from ConneXions: A Community Based Arts School. Ikemba won third place in the poetry contest for 6th-8th grade.Parents, students, and teachers came out to celebrate the students for their creative work and diligence. Students were awarded certificates and prize bags for participating. "College is an opportunity, it's a privilege, you don't automatically go to college, you have to earn it," says Christian a student from Leith Walk Elementary School, who won second place for his essay. "I feel that this contest in itself is a good example of what the college access piece is like…Students actually had to put something down on paper, in the same way they would have to put together something about themselves for a college or scholarship application," says Jimmy Tadlock, Interim Executive Director of the College Board Foundation. Dr. Shanaysha Sauls, Chair for the Baltimore City Board of Schools Commissioners spoke to students and their families about the critical importance of investing in a college education, seeking the right college for oneself, and not allowing financial aid to be a deterring factor.
