I . . . and DJI . . . changing the meanings of . . . An Eye For An Eye . . . Pilot 1: Sajjad Nabi Babur Pilot 2: Mohammad Asad Ground Crew: Mohammad Omer Aerial Gear 1: DJI Inspire-1 Aerial Gear 2: DJI Phantom-2 Location: Islamabad, Pakistan. Aerial Filming Facility: Flying JIB Studio Since ages, we have been told about the rage, fury and revenge for the meanings of “An Eye For An Eye”. This phrase could have been or being used to maintain the peace or either destroy it . . . for the last four years of my life I have fallen in love with aerial-filming and I am seeing the nature and the world from a different perspective, may be from the perspective of the eye of an Angel . . . things are really different when seen from above and mostly they are beautiful. A flying camera with a real-time HD video transmission to its ground-station on surface is not less than an eye in the sky. As I have found that the DJI aerial-filming gears are better for both the professionals and beginners because these are equipped with the latest technology and extreme mechanism setup and at the same time these are very user friendly with stress-free GUIs (graphical user interface), so to me, the DJI aerial gears are the better eyes in the sky. I am having the maiden flight of my latest “eye in the sky” DJI Inspire-1 and going to capture its inflight performance visuals with my DJI Phantom-2. I am capturing an eye (Inspire-1) with an eye (Phantom-2) in the sky and showing that who an eye is explaining the featuring and performance of the other eye. Visuals must be different and beautiful when two eyes are in the good favor and support of each other. This way, I using DJI making an example of the brotherhood of two eyes in the sky as “an eye for an eye”. I am the pioneer who introduced RC based aerial-filming in Pakistan and trendsetter of this technology to be used for social and commercial purposes. Being in love with flying since my childhood and having my hands on fixed-wing & rotary-wing RC aircrafts since 1997 now I have become one of the senior RC hobbyists of the region. I am an Aerial-Filmmaker who is a hobbyist by sideline and a creative animator/NLE by mainline, overall I am someone who always loves to fly and go through the post processing of aerial videos/images and I am an “Enthusiast” who loves to see a beautiful aerial glance either it is captured by me or anybody else . . . My Facebook page link is www.facebook.com/flyingJIBStudio - this is where you can see my aerial filming skills and the natural beauty of my country . . .

      • Wonder of the Kathmandu Valley

        04:01

        from Jake Lyell Added 115 0 0

Wedged between the Indian subcontinent and the lofty Himalayas, Nepal's Kathmandu Valley is a place where various cultures and religions meld together to create a spiritual fusion. While anthropologists may say otherwise, locals will tell you there is no distinction between Buddhism and Hinduism here. With settlements dating back as old as 130BC, the valley is home to the most dense collection of UNESCO World Heritage Sites anywhere in the world. Filming took place over four early mornings at some of Kathmandu's most sacred and ancient temples and on the every day streets of this bustling metropolis. Gear: Canon 5D Mark III, GoPro Hero 3+ Music: Audio Jungle, Pond 5 Post-production: Final Cut X

I am a horrible travel writer. The amount of times I pulled out my Journal and tried to describe my experiences and emotions is absurd. I would continually get distracted with the moment I was in, regardless of where I was. My form of travel documenting is by videography. Im not a 'pro' nor do I want to be. I have so much fun going through my silly footage and making a short edits with them. Kathmandu was so much more than what I expected. Everything was beautiful in its own unique way. The people I met, the places I saw... It was indescribable. I will not go into to much detail because I knew little of this city (and its surrounds) when I arrived which resulted in numerous days of exploring the unknown and finding happiness in learning a new way of life amongst Nepal's beautiful people. This, simply, is my personal romantic affair with a city I got to know in 7 days. All shot with GoPro Hero3+ Black Edition. “You can take my body out of Nepal but you can never take my soul and Heart from Nepal .” ― Suraj Dahal
