Full concert (insofar as it was harshly interrupted by the Suede Velvet Seating Police -- They'VeComeToTakeYourUncoolNiece! ($1 to Dead Kennedys, true Prophets of the Lord) that really terrorized us during Ingrid's show on 2015-06-24 only two nights ago, not that I had two working shoulders to tape with), and, sigh, dawn. Met Sufjan on the sidewalk arriving before the show, on Lake Street, off State Street, as I nearly walked into him as he was stretching his legs. During the conversation I asked if I could tape the show, pointing to my iPhone 6 plus with criminal pride. "But of course." I did not start my small talk very ably: "Well, you know, the main reason I am here is for dawn, your guitarist". I hope _that_ did get back to her, if at all, more or less as it played in Peoria: Blush. Blush. crazyEyes. Pfffffffft.+ More details

A nine-movement indie folk liturgy of confession, renewal, and dedication, written, arranged, and (with a little help from friends) performed by singer/songwriter and soon-to-be Fuller Theological Seminary alumni Todd Hoover. Recorded and mixed at Groovin' on Music (www.groovinonmusic.com) and mastered at Bernie Becker Mastering (www.berniebecker.com) April 2012 in Pasadena, Calif. This album, "The Whole Spirit: Redemption Songs," is now available for download at toddhoover.bandcamp.com. A biography and explanation of the album is also available for your reading pleasure at toddhoovermusic.blogspot.com. You can stream the album in its roughly 40-minute entirety from here, accompanied by photographs taken by Esther Maria Bordon at this liturgy's February 2012 debut at Trinity Lutheran Church (www.trinitylutheranpasadena.org), as well as album artwork designed by Jen Franco and Lesley Myrick. The track divisions are as follows: 1. If You're the Same God (0:00) 2. Turn Our Anger Into Praise (3:55) 3. Jubilant Noise (6:44) 4. Weaklings (10:40) 5. Death (15:02) 6. Resurrection (26:02) 7. After the Dragon Dies (29:47) 8. Working/Waiting (33:25) 9. Prayer and Doxology (37:54) All inquiries regarding purchasing, booking, licensing, interviews, theological quandaries, idle chitchatting, adoration, disgust, hairdressing, etc. should be directed toward email@example.com. (FULL DISCLOSURE: I may not be able to provide you sufficient answers to your hairdressing questions, but I'm willing to try anything once ... ) Seriously, though, thank you so much for your listening ears, viewing eyes and generous hearts. May God bless you abundantly in all you do. :)+ More details

This is a cover of Sufjan Stevens' "All Delighted People," performed live with a rather extensive pedal setup. The video seems to be a little off, but I think that's due to the downconversion (high quality didn't fit in Vimeo's limit) and the transfer online. Sorry about that. Download cover songs and some original work for free at http://synecdochemusic.bandcamp.com - there is one album that requires payment, and even that only takes $1.42.
