1. Breathing Underwater

I built my house by the sea. Not on the sands, mind you; not on the shifting sand. And I built it of rock. A strong house by a strong sea. And we got well acquainted, the sea and I. Good neighbors. Not that we spoke much. We met in silences. Respectful, keeping our distance, but looking our thoughts across the fence of sand. Always, the fence of sand our barrier, always, the sand between. And then one day, and I still don’t know how it happened - the sea came. Without warning. Without welcome, even. Not sudden and swift, but a shifting across the sand like wine, less like the flow of water than the flow of blood. Slow, but coming. Slow, but flowing like an open wound. And I thought of flight and I thought of drowning and I thought of death. And while I thought the sea crept higher, till it reached my door. And I knew, then, there was neither flight, nor death, nor drowning. That when the sea comes calling, you stop being neighbors, Well acquainted, friendly-at-a-distance neighbors, And you give your house for a coral castle, And you learn to breathe underwater. I am also proud to feature a song i produced with my dad, Damon Frost as the main theme in this film. Ready to Surrender is a force to reckon with, do it justice by turning up the volume on your system or plug in your good headphones. Enjoy! "Authentic Heart" is a spontaneous, unscripted travel around North America, to meet with people of all paths and cultures, and to connect in the timelessness of the eternal heart. All we need do is listen without any sense of separation to each voice we hear, and know that every sound rises out of one collective, authentic heart."

When we feel alone and useless - like rejects, like junk - what do we long for? How much are we willing to give up for it? Where does addiction begin? And what could deter us from losing ourselves in it? An abstract, deliberately narrated short film about the formation and the decline of a softer world. "This video was directed by Arni & Kinski. We were keen for the location not to look specific to Iceland and found a perfect spot in in Iceland's Þingvellir National Park. The piece was shot sequentially on Super 8 on what turned into an extremely cold and rainy day. I think the challenging weather conditions took the video to an interesting place, adding intensity and darkness. The video features choreography by Damien Jalet and Erna Ómarsdóttir and as it was my first experience with dance, it required Damien and I to practice routines and inserts for a couple of hours each day for two weeks leading up to the shoot." - Ólöf Arnalds Shot on location in Iceland. This week I wasn't planning on doing a full scale update so instead I have a time lapse video showing the making of one of the actual levels that will be making it into the game. This is Sandstone Bay. A U shaped island with 2 enemy bases on it on either end and your outpost in the middle. I've never really used Unity as a full world builder before this project and 3.0 is a joy to use for creating levels. The level was made in one 2 hour sitting and played back at 10x speed Thanks for watching! Quick Fingers is an independent game developer from the UK. Taking a 'one man army' approach, everything that is Quick Fingers is done by one person. For more information visit http://www.quickfingers.net
