John went through many struggles in his life especially as he was growing up. He lost his father at a young age and he also survived sexual abuse. John developed other addictions like smoking and drinking, all the while feeling a deep void in his life and constantly seeking acceptance and love from others around hi which only led to more heartache. John suspected that he might have contracted 'swine flu' at a time when the epidemic was claiming the lives of other people in his city. Feeling like he might die at any given moment, John decided to try something he felt quite indifferent about. Nevertheless, that was the beginning of a great life change for John. His world would never be the same again.

It just so happens that North America's "flu season" coincides pretty closely with our "common cold" season. Understandably, a lot of people have a tough time realizing which is which. Some people even think that their flu shot gives them a runny nose, but they are actually just going through a common cold around the same time they get their flu shot. If you're really worried about possibly having the flu, look for a few telltale signs we mention here. We hope you all stay healthy this winter and protect yourselves with the flu vaccine!
