First actual go at RealFlow and Krakatoa. Made a lot of mistakes, even after all the troubleshooting, but this was a nice way to get familiar with the basics. Wasn't aiming for anything realistic physically. I like the crazy swirly stuff... and magnets... (yes there's a water magnet in this sim ;D) All the specifications for the sim, render and rig used can be found at the end the breakdown. :) Next up I'm going to get Frost into the workflow.

Fall has passed and Winter is now here to stay. I wanted to capture the essence of these seasons using my home as the setting. Because, after all, isn't home the place we all gather to enjoy this time of year? All video was shot and edited by me. All music was written and recorded by me. The food, however, was not made by me.

              • An Archeology of All Objects

                from Stefan Szczelkun / Added

An artists video. A swirling mix of small cheap common objects meets the ancient art of Sigmund Freud's collection of objects. Freud's objects are supposed to correlate with the shared human culture the shadows of which reside in our subconscious - buried and hidden until called forth by resonances from current experiences. My thesis is that my subconscious may have a different class of objects in residence. The objects most of us grow up familiar with are mostly not those of the heritage of great civilisations but rather the remnants of the objects that are in common circulation. These objects still have a profound semiotic and aesthetic materiality. In other words Freud's view is inflected by his class experience. This one was shown at the Polish Cultural Institute Art Gallery, London, 1998

http://www.brambleberry.com/ Experimenting with new swirls is always so much fun. But sometimes when you are trying to get a specific design it can be frustrating. I found that to be true about the Peacock Swirl design. So I created a set of tools to make it easy to get the perfect Peacock Swirl. In this video I make cold process soap with a wonderful color combination of deep red, peach, aqua, black and white and it's definitely the best Peacock Swirl I have ever made. Of course I've also found that my new Swirl tools can make all sorts of other swirl patterns, too. Find the swirl tool here http://www.brambleberry.com/Swirl-Tool-Kit-P5772.aspx In fact, if you want to get all the ingredients and tools you need to make this soap just follow this link to the Bramble Berry website: http://www.brambleberry.com/BRAMCustom/KitRecipeHandler.ashx?recipe=sqtvpeacockswirl Are you a blogger?
