                      INTER - GEN : a young women’s video project 2011 Lust and Found is a 10 minute narrative-based dramatic short with an original script created by 5 young women who identify as immigrant and refugee. It is the coming of age story of two young immigrant women whose lives are complicated by the parent-child divide, cultural dissonance, gendered experiences between siblings, bullying, teenage social realities, and teen pregnancy. While self-esteem is a constant challenge, the girl-self acknowledged and supportive female relationships “found’ becomes a critical source of power. This is a project of the Action Team and Girls Action Foundation. Produced and mentored by Joah Lui and the Rolling Earth Centre. Filmmakers: Angelica Melendez, Karla Suarez, Shirin Tirgarian, Sahar Sayyadi, Josiane Anthony. Original Music by Iranarama and Tin Tin La Nota Musical. Spoken Word by Nat Shivji.
