Almost, Maine was the opening production of Tunxis Stage’s fifth season. It featured one cast member from our very first show, Jim Revillini, and three time veteran Bernard Francis who stepped in on short notice and delivered a knock out performance. The whole cast worked together wonderfully to the evident delight of the SRO audiences on both nights. ---------------------------------------------------- THE STORY: On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream.

It is often hard for people who have lived in one country to understand the notion of Culture Shock. That is why, during International Week, Tunxis International Students present a panel discussion on what it is like to move into a new culture. The panel members tell the audience some of their interesting or unusual experiences that happened to them when they first moved here. Then, the panel answers questions from the audience about those experiences.
