Sr. Corita Kent was an activist nun and artist of the 1960s - 80s. Her striking visual style which blended religious texts, literary references, music lyrics, and appropriated advertising slogans for social causes was very influential in the pop art movement. One of her largest works was the 40-foot "Beatitudes Banner", created for the Vatican Pavilion of the 1964 New York World's Fair. Acquired by the United Church of Christ after the Fair was over, the banner was put into storage and was largely out of the public eye for the better part of a half century. This historic piece was recently taken out of the UCC archives and will be on display at Cleveland's Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) as part of a career retrospective of Sr. Corita's work. Here, we see the banner being unfurled and restored at MOCA Cleveland.+ More details

Their suit is unique because it is the first to argue Amendment One infringes on religious freedom.+ More details
Twin Maps presents our final feature! This is a presentation of our story, our journey, and our adventure. We traveled all across America and have this to show for it. Enjoy! We'd like to thank the United Church of Christ Volunteer Ministries for sponsoring this incredible journey and for trusting two kids with cameras. We'd also like to thank our parents; without them, this project would have never happened. And we would especially like to thank you, the viewer, for keeping up with our travels throughout this year. Enjoy!+ More details
