1. Wildwood Days - Trailer

WILDWOOD DAYS is the pop culture history of a quirky rock 'n roll resort of neon-lit motels being threatened by a wrecking ball - as told by Bruce Willis, Dick Clark, Chubby Checker, Bobby Rydell, legendary radio personality Jerry "The Geator" Blavat, and others. Far from the world of bland, impersonal chains, Wildwood welcomes you to 50's and 60's motels with names like the Astronaut, the Eden Roc and the Bonanza - or whatever was new and exotic at the time. It's also home to the country's biggest boardwalk and a rich musical history. Once dubbed Little Las Vegas and The Birthplace of Rock 'n Roll, it was the first place Chubby twisted and Bill Haley and His Comets rocked around the clock. There are Marble Tournaments, Baby Parades and plastic palms, Wildwood's official tree. Dick Clark hosted dances at the magical Starlight Ballroom. Bobby Rydell immortalized it in song, and a young Bruce Willis tended bar and won disco dance contests. Wildwood also has an incredibly loyal following. Generations of families return every year, like the swallows to Capistrano, to enjoy New Jersey's biggest beach and fight over whether Sam's or Mack's has the best Boardwalk pizza. But a wrecking ball looms overhead, threatening the summer dreams of decades of visitors. "Wildwood Days" will touch the hearts and spark the memories of anyone who had a special summer place. At this unique moment in history, there are over 6.3 million single women in their 30s in the U.S. For the past several years, the media has painted them as either desperate to get married or so career-driven that they "don't need a man." This documentary will finally allow women to speak up collectively about the realities of what seeking "Happily Ever After" looks like in today's climate. We'll see the pressures they face, the hopes they have, and the ups and downs of giving themselves permission to avoid settling when it comes to picking a spouse. "Strong bodies fight, that weak bodies may be nourished." - Dominic "Nappy" Napolitano This is the mantra of the Notre Dame Boxing Team, which annually hosts an intramural charity tournament called "The Bengal Bouts" to support the Holy Cross development efforts in the poverty-stricken country of Bangladesh. Founded by Dominic "Nappy" Napolitano and legendary football coach Knute Rockne in 1930, and perpetuated by over 80 years of blood, sweat, and grit, the Bengal Bouts represent a sacred tradition of students lacing up their gloves in a fight much larger than the ring in which they box. In May 2008, for the first time in the storied history of the program, a group of 5 student boxers embarked on a journey to the other side of the world to witness the Bangladesh missions. What they encountered was not what they had anticipated. Where they had expected to find weakness, they found strength; where they thought they would find despair, they found great resolve. They learned that the Bangladeshi people were not helpless victims waiting for aid but agents of change full of energy and capacity. From the dusty, blood-spattered mat in Notre Dame's boxing gym to the chaotic, crowded streets of Dhaka City; from the bright lights of the ring on fight night to the breathtaking countryside home to the indigenous tribal peoples of Bangladesh - this film takes us on an inspirational journey with the Notre Dame boxers, the Holy Cross Missionaries, and the people of Bangladesh, together engaged in a unified FIGHT against poverty.
