Grace and Jack’s wedding was also a ‘farewell’ to Wellington, their home for the past four years. The pre-ceremony photoshoot took in all the sights of the capital; from a bustling Lambton Quay to the steely steps of Parliament; the Petone aquifer; and windswept coastal locations en route to Pencarrow Lodge. The lawn ceremony came to a close just as a southerly advanced over Wellington harbour. Indoors, guests were warmed by an open fire and treated to a seasonal buffet. A highlight of the evening was throwing the bouquet, before the bus arrived to ferry family and friends back to the waiting lights of the city. The Wairarapa was the perfect setting for the beautiful couple Tess & Cam. It was a gloriously sunny day, and the cheerfulness of everyone at the wedding reflected the weather in every way. We began the morning with Cam and the boys at a little cottage near Gladstone. Left to their own devices, we were greeted by the smell of their bachelor's breakfast - burnt bacon and a scorched pan! The incident set the laughs going, which suited us just fine as we worked creatively with the boys to get fun shots of their preparations. Simply said, there was no absence of man-love! We soon hightailed it to Brackenridge Country Retreat where Tess and the girls were getting ready. The relaxed and smiley atmosphere centred around Tess was a lovely way to start the morning, and we were all awed by Tess' statuesque beauty in her stunning gown! Here we had a chance to speak to a few of the bridesmaids and grab video messages to Tess & Cam. It was thoroughly touching to hear the love they held for the couple. The ceremony was held at Gladstone Church, which despite it's tiny size was utterly charming. There were tears, laughter and the most raucous applause we've ever experienced at a ceremony! It was a completely delightful affair with the most supportive family and friends any couple could ask for. The reception at Brackenridge was equally wonderful! With Tess' brother Alex as MC, the atmosphere was casual and fun. There was no lack of excellent speeches with plenty of laughs and an abundance of 'awww' moments! Overall we had an excellent day with Tess & Cam and it was beautiful to be a part of it. Their strong bond stemming from friendship is an inspiration to young love, and we were proud to celebrate the day with them. We trust that this video will be a keepsake to mark the beginning of their long and happy married life! All the best Tess and Cam!
