Photography and Video Edited with Lightroom, After Effects and Final Cut Pro. Music composed in Logic Pro. Facebook: http://facebook.com/kienlamphotography Instagram: http://instagram.com/whereandwander Twitter: http://twitter.com/kiendlam Special thanks to Dan Hirons, Joey Seich and Carol Trieu for all your help, support and patience. To all my fellow travelers whose company made each step of the way all the more memorable and unique, I want you to know that however short an appearance you made in the video, you've left an impact far greater and long-lasting than the few seconds that each city appeared in the video. To my family, thank you for bearing with me and worrying about my health and safety with every dodgy bus ride and new country I found myself in each day.

" The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes" - Marcel Proust Acted, Directed & Edited by Rome K. Chopra https://www.facebook.com/rome.chopra Shot in London & New Jersey. London- Hounslow West New Jersey- Skillman This is my first piece of work over 5 minutes. When I heard the song in May I just knew I had to do something with it. Now in my last year in one important chapter in my life I knew I had to make something that had true value. So I looked at my past pieces of work in college- Jay Sean Lip Dub 2012- In Freshman Year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDnbrK... Written in the Stars Adaptation- Sophomore Year https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=... Too busy with school- Junior Year From this list I knew it had to be musical, have family values, and have a story involved. With this in mind I mapped out these themes on a map and realized a bollywood approach would be the best suitable approach. Hence my first attempt at a bollywood styled piece. Two things had to change, the camera movements had to be more dramatic, and secondly the feel of the emotions had to be more exaggerated from the characters. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT IS INTENDED... ALL RIGHTS ARE OWNED BY T-SEIRES & PRITAM. SECOND SONG RIGHTS OWNED BY DHARMA PRODUCTIONS. NO PROFIT IS BEING MADE FROM THIS VIDEO. First off the run time of this short music film is 9 Minutes. It is called the 5$ short film because all I had to do was pay $5 bucks to get all these London shots, the rest was simple. Secondly Please honor The Late Kevin Nicholson. This is the man who is walking his dog in the beginning of the film. I feel blessed to have been able to capture him on film in August, as his death was sudden and unexpected in October. The craziest part about his death is that he was found in his house wearing the same clothes he was filmed in...May his soul rest in peace and even though his part was less than five seconds on camera, he impacted me for the rest of my life in just that small amount of time.Amen. Wanderlust is a story of an independence seeking adult who tries to find a new feeling of desire and discovery by living in another country. But as the quote says above, independence and change does not come from altering your geographic locations, rather it comes from coming to understanding with your emotional state. In the short piece, the main character thinks he can just avoid all of his problems and worries back home by running away. He comes to realize that it is not possible to completely disconnect..and if it is possible..then it is hard to push away the people who are closest to your heart. Wanderlust is a story that was inspired by the actual song from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Khabhi Kushi Khabi Gaum, and lastly the British Airways ad for NRI Children. I had the opportunity to spend 3 months abroad, living alone for sometime, and with family for other times. Let me tell you this actually happened, I avoided calls from back home just because I wanted to fully take in being independent and cut off. The ending scene you see here is inspired by Karan Johar's film but it is also the way many of us feel after returning home from long trips. The message I hope to send from this is film is do not try to physically become independent and think that will translate to emotional independence...I've tried it.. instead embrace the present memories you live..and visit home a bit more often than you currently do.. • Chris Sharma Does Wanderlust

        from Prana Living Added

What happens when one of the world's greatest climbers dives head first into yoga, music and nature at Wanderlust... Chris Sharma is widely considered the best climber in the world and has been part of the prAna family for the vast majority of his career. Chris’s meteoric climbing career started when he won the Bouldering Nationals at age 14 and opened the hardest climb in America (at the time, 5.14c) a year later. In the decade that followed, he has continued to take climbing to a new level. Not only has he consistently shattered previous conceptions of difficulty, he was recently voted 8a Climber of the Decade. He has sent multiple 5.15 routes, bouldered V15, onsighted 5.14b, and established deep water solo routes at the highest grades. Chris holds claim to the current hardest route in America, and perhaps the world, with his ascent of Jumbo Love at Clark Mountain in California. For the latest on Chris, visit him at prAna.com.

Have you ever felt trapped in a static life you didn’t choose? Ever considered just walking away from it all and creating your own adventure? When Josh and Jessa Works asked themselves these questions, they answered by loading their son Jack into an Airstream and launching into an exploration and rediscovery of America, not in search of a place to settle, but rather creating a new kind of home out of wandering.
