uBuoy is a redesign of the conventional life buoy. It was designed after months of research and conceptualization as part of my dissertation in my final year of my B.Sc. in product design.

This production was heart-wrenching yet so very heart felt at the same time. Very thankful to Misty and Lone Star Lifesavers for letting CinemaStory be a part of this life-saving water prevention PSA documercial. I filmed on a Canon 7D with a 35mm f2.0 IS for the wide shots, Canon T3i with Sigma 70-200mm f4.5-5.6 OS for close-up cut-aways, and collected news footage and b-roll shots while on set. For shots of the pool, I traveled to the location and used both cameras from the fence line and used the Phantom DJI with Go-Pro Hero 3 Black Edition (@60fps and protoune) to get the aerial shots. I free dive for a hobby. This skill set has been invaluable for my career. I perform a lot of water safety for film and often get asked to film underwater sequences for productions with smaller budgets....
