    from NeilPryde Windsurfing Added 3,265 5 1

NeilPryde introduced Forceline structural reinforcements in 2013. Forceline is now evolving into a full concept where loads are seamlessly controlled and dispersed in the entire, tack, foot, clew and leech of the sails. This is revolutionising the way we are designing our sails.

The Blacktip is an ultra-light four batten wave sail, designed for ideal performance with multi-fin boards. Its compact sail outline allows for easy handling and the two kevlar stretch control tendons secure the profile stability. The 2 MIL Q-ply paneling in the top half of the sail for gives light swing weight handeling, while the bottom half of the sail is reinforced with 5 MIL X-ply to handle tough conditions. Designed and developed by Tomas Persson in close collaboration with Klaas Voget, the 2013 Blacktip presents the best drive and maneuverability in our wave sail range. Not glamourous. Never even used the foot straps. You don't see many vids showing wave sailing when it's really light wind but you can have a blast! Sam was on a Fanatic Fly 10' with sail and I'm on a 112L with weed fin. I really need a tuttle wave fin. 80% of the time our 5.8 sails were just enough. 6/12/11 in Avon NC
